History

In 2007, the Veterans Affairs launched the Veterans Crisis Line (VCL) to provide 24/7, worldclass suicide prevention and crisis intervention services to Veterans, Servicemembers, and their family members. The VA needed outreach materials to communicate that the hotline exists and to keep the telephone number available to veterans when needed.

Solution

In 2012, Agio Brand Solutions supplied promotional products to assist with the outreach. The promotional material is available to the VA’s 1,200 facilities.

Result

Today, the VA responds to over 500,000 calls per year.
